Groundlane, Inc. ("we", "us") operates Groundlane. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
Account information (name, email) when you sign up; project, customer, and estimate data you enter; calculator inputs when you choose to save a calculation; and, if you request quotes, contact and project details you submit through the lead form.
How we use it
To provide the Service (saving your projects, generating estimates and PDFs), to process subscription payments via Stripe, to send transactional email via Resend, and — only with your explicit consent — to share your project and contact details with matched contractors when you request quotes.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share lead contact details with a contractor until you've consented and, per our marketplace design, not until that contractor accepts the match. We do not use your calculator inputs for anything other than providing the Service and (only if you opt in) product analytics.
Analytics
We use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand aggregate product usage. We avoid sending sensitive personal calculation details to these tools.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete projects, customers, and estimates at any time from your account. To request full account deletion, contact support@getgroundlane.com.
